1. Quartz crucibles can be used below 1450 degrees, and are divided into transparent and opaque. The translucent quartz crucible made by arc method is an essential basic material for drawing large-diameter single crystal silicon and developing large-scale integrated circuits. Today, developed countries in the world's semiconductor industry have replaced small transparent quartz crucibles with this crucible. It has the advantages of high purity, strong temperature resistance, large size and high precision, good heat preservation, energy saving, and stable quality.

 

2. Can not be in contact with HF. At high temperature, it is very easy to react with caustic alkali and alkali metal carbonate.

 

3. The quartz crucible is suitable for melting samples with K2S2O7 and KHSO4 as fluxes and treating samples with Na2S207 as fluxes.

The impurities in the raw materials will produce black spots and bubbles during the high-temperature melting process during production, which will have a certain impact on the stability of single crystal silicon when it is drawn.
